Before the BattleBots 2000 event in San Francisco, Mouser received a "Mecha-Cybernetic" implant to repair the extensive damage that Executioner caused at Battlebots 1999 in Long Beach. Mouser also had 2 fresh metal cutting saws added to replace the metal cut off wheels. As a final touch a steel frame was added to extend the flipper's capability. This years upgrades cost a whopping $60.00.

Surprising to us all, Mouser really kicked butt in a few matches this time. First, in a match against Shaft, Mouser was able to get the new extended flipper under and agressiveley persue victory. Then Mouser dominated No Tolerance for another win getting into the quarter finals against Alpha Raptor. Unfortunately the Co2 fitting blew right before the match eliminating Mouser from the duels. But there were still the rumbles. Mouser was among the only four robots still standing in the first rumble and would go on to fight the last robots surviving the second rumble. Finally, in the third rumble Mouser won the San Francisco 2000 lightweight rumble at around 10:30PM Sunday night after everyone had gone home including the camera crew!

2000 Thanks to April Mousley, John Duncan, Jon Foreman, Grant Imahara, Preston Donavan, Nelson Hall, Dave Fogler, Tony Preciado, Steve Walton, and The Industrial Light & Magic Model Shop.
